Call for Applications- Bachelor of Insurance and Risk Management 2024/2025 Intake

The University is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for admission into its mature entry and upgrading programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year.

 

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The requirement for admission into the university shall be based on:

  1. Six credits at MSCE or its equivalent including English Language plus relevant Diploma qualification from an accredited institution
  2. Four credits at MSCE or its equivalent including English Language plus relevant Diploma qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience

 

Specific requirements for each programme are detailed below:

Programme Code: MUB-BIRM

Mode of Delivery: Weekend classes

Programme Duration: 4 years

 

Specific Programme Entry Requirements 

Year 3: Advanced Diploma in Insurance (obtained before the year 2021), 2 years working experience, and MSCE with at least FOUR credits including Mathematics and English or its equivalent. 

Year 2: Advanced Diploma (obtained from the year 2021 and thereafter) or Diploma in Insurance (obtained before the year 2021), 2 years working experience, and MSCE with at least FOUR credits including Mathematics and English or its equivalent.

 

TUITION FEES PER ANNUM

Malawians/SADC: MWK 1,000,000.00; NON-SADC: USD2000.
