The Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS), the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) and University of Strathclyde (Scotland) together are implementing a four-year (2022-2026) research and capacity building adolescent health and wellbeing programme with funding from the UK’s National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR). These opportunities will focus on a range of topics pertaining to adolescents: health economics, water sanitation and hygiene, sexual and reproductive health rights and adolescent wellbeing.

Four PhD Studentship opportunities are available to Malawian nationals resident in Malawi only, to support this research programme. Two PhD studentships based in Scotland, UK are being offered by the University of Strathclyde.
