The position is tenable in the Electrical Engineering Department. 

Duties 

1. Conducting demonstrations during practical classes.
2. Supervising practical classes.
3. Guiding students during their final year project assignments
4. Checking that all machines and instruments are in good working condition and ready for use daily.
5. Conducting stocktaking of equipment / instruments quarterly.
6. Requesting for the purchase of materials needed for practical classes.
7. Repairing electrical/electronic equipment.
8. Submitting quarterly reports on various repair and maintenance work.
9. Ensuring that store cleaning exercise is conducted regularly.   

Qualifications 

Candidates should possess a City and guildsAdvanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering orUniversity Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years experience in electronics repairs.
