Programme Summary
This Masters Programme is part of the Transforming Energy Access - Learning Partnerships Project, implemented at MUBAS and other selected African Universities. The Programme has been developed with support from DFID through the University of Cape Town.
The programme has 2 streams; Energy Access and Energy Management. The Energy Access stream is ideal for physical scientists, who, after the study would provide solutions to energy access challenges using physical sciences and engineering. On the other hand, the Energy Management stream is for those who are not necessarily physical scientists but are from fields such as commerce and social science.
Admission Criteria Requirements
- Applicants for the Energy Access stream must have a Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, renewable energy, built environment, or technical education or equivalent obtained from any accredited higher education institution.
- Applicants for the Energy Management stream must have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, built environment, renewable energy, technical education, commerce, or social science or equivalent obtained from any accredited higher education institution.
