Programme Summary
This programme is aimed at providing expertise in construction industry sector and students are equipped with skills in all aspects of the construction industry that include Construction Economics, Construction Management, Estimator, Facilities Management, Procurement, Project Management and Cost Engineering.
Admission Criteria Requirements
The selection is based upon consideration of individual academic achievement. In the case of mature entry candidates, industrial experience is needed.
Normal Entry
Candidates must have a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), “O” Level, IGCSE, or GCE with 6 credits including English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Mature Entry
- Minimum of 4 credits at MSCE, ‘O’ Level, IGCSE, or GCE or equivalent including English, Physical Science and Mathematics
- Relevant Diploma in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management/Civil Engineering or any other related programme
- 2 years of industrial experience
