Selection List For 2021 Entrepreneurship Training For The Youth In SMALL SCALE MINING

The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) in conjunction with the Ministry of Youth and Sports approved admission of 80 candidates (40 males and 40 females) for a short course training in Entrepreneurship in Small Scale Mining under Jobs for Youth Program. This training is funded by African Development Bank (ADB). The aim of the training is to enable the youth gain the necessary insights and skills in business establishment and management in small scale mining in order to contribute to sustainable youth owned businesses in Malawi. 

The MUBAS management and the Ministry of Youth and Sports would like to congratulate all candidates who have been admitted into this program and wish them all the best. The Training will be delivered at the main campus of the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences in Blantyre and shall run for a period of 3 weeks.  Date of commencement of the training is 15th November 2021. The selected candidates are expected to be on campus on 14th November 2021.

Scholarship 

The Malawi Government through Ministry of Youth and Sports will offer scholarships to ALL selected candidates. The scholarship will offer: tuition, stationery, accommodation and meals. However, the selected candidates will be responsible for their travel costs to and from MUBAS and should bring their own beddings. No training allowances will be paid to participants.
