Mubas sport teams invade MZUNI for the 27th may 2023 PUSSAM Games

The Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences Sports Association is set to invade Mzuzu University for the 2023 PUSSAM Sports Association games as part of their preparations for the SAUSSA games to be hosted by North-West University in South Africa later in the year.

According to Mr. Noel Chavula, President of the MUBAS Sports Association, they had an intensive training for the games and all is set to upset the table during the games. More of MUBAS players will make it into the PUSSAM teams which will participate in the SAUSSA games in December.

The sports festival will involve the five public Universities namely, University of Malawi, Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences, Malawi University of Science and Technology, Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the host, Mzuzu University. The following sporting codes will be featured during the games: Football, Netball, Volleyball, Darts, Athletics, Bawo, Chess and our local indigenous game, Nguli.

During the similar games held last year, MUBAS won a silver medal in Nguli. MUBAS will participate in all games.

Mr. Chavula applauded Management for its support towards the 60-member team traveling to Mzuzu for the games.
