Invitation to attend a public defence

The Faculty of Applied Sciences through the Office of the Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research at The Polytechnic, a constituent college of the University of Malawi would like to invite  members of the general public to a PhD  public defence ceremony which will be held on Thursday, February 13th, 2020.

The function will take place in the School of Engineering Lecture Theatre at the Polytechnic in Blantyre from 1 o’clock in the afternoon.

The presentation is entitled: “Improving Efficiency in the treatment of pit latrines sludge from unplanned settlements in the cities of Malawi” and will be made by Mr. Khumbo Kalulu, a PhD student in the Faculty of Applied Sciences.

All invitees are expected to be seated by 1pm.
